Still here...
Now we've moved on from fliers to...well, everything else. Our class is at this halfway point where we're starting to run out of ideas. People were throwing around a lot of ideas. I'm just not sure how many of them will have any follow through. I did like the idea about the after school screening. If they can arrange it with language arts teachers to give extra credit or something like that then a lot of people would come. I forget what movie we picked but I think it's important we remember it has to do with child abuse. When people were calling out movies last week no one was really picking movies that involved child abuse. They were just sad movies with homeless kids. Megan and I decided to work on little mini posters together at art club last week but it was cancelled. So either we're going to do it during a study hall today or tomorrow or at art club tomorrow. I'm not exactly sure what everyone else is doing though. The class is starting to get seriously disorganized with our planning. I don't think everyone should be running off in their own direction because then it gets hard to keep up with who's doing what work. Instead we could pick maybe four major projects and split up into groups like we did at the beginning. That way everyone would have something to be invested in. Posters and fliers in school could be one, the movie day after school, another commercial, and something else we could all vote on together in class. Mrs. J was saying in class how important it was to keep going until the very end. Working together really seems like the only way to keep everyone doing the project moving. So that's it for today...

Not a halfway point...an almost ending point! Good reflection.
