I'm in the research group in the fight against child abuse and so far so good.  We have our action plan and everything and everyone seems to agree on the things we need to get done.  I'm pretty happy with the group I have because I normally get stuck in groups where people don't care about what we're doing.  I know some other groups have had trouble with deciding what they're going to do and I hope that after our presentation today they'll understand a little better what kind of information they're working with.  Before we take any more steps, though, I think everyone in the class needs to know everybody else's deadlines so they know how feasible their goals are.  Most groups can't even start until after today when we present.  I hope once we start the donations we make are up for conversation because I'm not really sure what CHOP has to do with child abuse exclusively.  Obviously it's a hospital and it needs money but I just don't know why CHOP was the cause we decided we wanted to donate to.  But then again, Mrs. Johnston has been saying that fundraising and stuff wasn't as important as spreading awareness.  I really hope we looked up the kind of information the other groups want, otherwise our work so far is a waste.  We were all thinking of moving to new groups after this because now our group is essentially obsolete.  I think I'm going to go to advertising or something to make sure the information is carried out effectively without being too graphic or something.  I know that the news does that sometimes and it's kind of annoying.  Anyway, that's it for today.
